Sister, before you click away, I want you to pause for a moment.
We’re already in the second month of 2026, and if you’re anything like me, this is the point where the noise quiets down and the truth starts speaking a little louder. Not the “new year, new everything” kind of truth—but the real one.
How are you actually feeling in your body right now?
I’m asking because I care—and because I’m paying closer attention myself. My energy. My digestion. My stress levels. How I move. How I rest. What I’m putting on my plate and how it makes me feel afterward. These aren’t abstract ideas anymore. They’re daily check-ins.
And when I talk to other Black women, I hear the same themes over and over again:
“I want to feel better.”
“I want consistency.”
“I don’t want another complicated plan.”
That’s where my heart is.
As a nutrition and wellness coach, I believe wellness should feel supportive, not stressful. It should fit into real life—the lives we’re already living. Sometimes that looks like stepping outside for a wellness walk, moving our bodies while we talk, laugh, and breathe. Sometimes it looks like being in the kitchen together, learning simple, nourishing ways to take care of ourselves without overthinking it.
This space exists so we can slow down, get honest, and choose ourselves—one small, intentional step at a time.
So sister, hold on. Don’t go anywhere.
You don’t have to figure this out alone.
Call to Action:
If you’re ready to explore wellness in a way that feels real and sustainable, I’d love to connect. Reach out to schedule a wellness walk or a nutrition kitchen demo, and let’s start where you are—together. đź’›
