Healthy Looks Good on Us

I became interested in healthy living by watching life up close.

I saw family members I loved, including my mother and aunties, face health issues that made me pay attention. Not in a fearful way, but in an intentional way. I started asking better questions about food, movement, energy, and the daily choices that shape how we age.

I also became fascinated by the habits of healthy people. What did they eat? How did they move? How did they think? What did they do consistently that helped them feel strong, clear, and alive?

Over time, I found myself drawn to naturally wholesome vegetarian choices. Fresh vegetables. Simple meals. Foods that felt nourishing instead of heavy. Meals that reminded me that taking care of myself did not have to be complicated.

This summer, I am choosing health in a simple way.

Move every day.

Eat food that nourishes me.

Rest when my body asks for it.

Protect my peace.

Think forward.

For Black women especially, this matters. Many of us have spent years taking care of everyone else. But our health matters too. Our joy matters. Our future matters.

You do not need another reminder to “age gracefully.”

You need a quiet place to tell the truth, release what no longer fits, and choose who you are becoming next.

For just $11, this 7-day journal gives you a simple, guided space to reflect on your body, your beauty, your peace, your desires, and your next chapter.

Download your journal today and begin your 7-day intentional aging reset.
